1. BOB LE FLAMBEUR
In Paris, Bob Montagne (Roger Duchesne) is practically synonymous with gambling — and winning. He is kind, classy and well-liked by virtually everyone in town, including police inspector Ledru (Guy Decomble). However, when Bob’s luck turns sour, he begins to lose friends and makes the most desperate gamble of his life: to rob the Deauville casino during Grand Prix weekend, when the vaults are full. Unfortunately, Bob soon learns that the game is rigged and the cops are on to him.

Posing as a married family, the soldier finds them a place to stay where he becomes everyone’s favorite through his good looks and generosity. Meanwhile the widowed Russian with a young son falls for a soldier who turns out to have another identity. This film is highly recommended.

Along with his best friend and fellow police officer, Jalard is set to turn in his badge and run a hotel in the sunny Caribbean. But Jalard’s retirement plans are put on hold when his business partner is killed by murderer Charly Schneider (Jean-Pierre Malo). After taking in his friend’s orphaned son, Jalard embarks on a whole new plan for the future: Get back on the job, and get Schneider.
