Ted, his girlfriend Jo, and his brother Johnny are small-time robbers in Montreal. The brothers spend their time watching TV, while Jo rereads Leonard Cohen’s novel “Beautiful Losers” and attends writing classes. Luka, a Czech immigrant, picks up Jo when he sees her shoplifting. When Johnny surprises Luka kissing Jo, he attacks him. In the ensuing fight Jo accidentally kills Johnny, and Luka leaves the scene, but drops his wallet. The police assume that Luka attacked Johnny after a break-in and Jo goes along with that, but feels guilty about it.

Royce and Dexter are two slackers who live in the strange little town of Weedsville. When Royce’s girlfriend Matilda overdose’s on their stash and dies, they decide to bury her in an abandoned Drive-In theater. Things get out of control when they discover Satanists performing a ritual sacrifice right where they were going to bury the body…

K.K. Khosla (Anupam Kher) is a middle class man living in New Delhi. He is a simple man with simple tastes. The plot starts with a scene where Khosla dreams about his death. The irony is that nobody cares about his death; instead his children & neighbours are more interested in their materialistic needs. One early morning in Delhi, Khosla wakes up and plans to go to the site where he has purchased a plot to build his house. He is accompanied by his wife, eldest son Bunty (Ranvir Shorey), second son Chironji Lal Khosla (Parvin Dabas), and his daughter. When they reach the spot they find that the site has been occupied by someone else and on further investigation find that it has been captured by a property usurping nexus headed by a man named Kishan Khurana (Boman Irani). Khurana demands Rs. 15 lakhs to vacate the plot, which Khosla refuses to give. Bunty gathers few local strongmen and forcefully destroys the walls and re-occupies the plot. But Khurana has the police on his side and he gets Khosla arrested. After a day in the lock-up, Khosla is released. After Cherry meets Asif Iqbal who at one time was Khurana’s partner. Khurana took away Asif’s ancestral land by cheating him. So Asif and the Khoslas turn the tables on Khurana and dupe him of Rs. 35 lakhs (by fraud). In the end, Khosla gives the required 15 lakh to Khurana and takes possession of his plot.

The two play a high-stakes game of pool which ends in a huge debt owed to Joe, and soon Johnny finds that his brother is in jail for trying to steal the money he owes. The only way out for Johnny is to play Brad, which results in a “race to nine” showdown that pits two of the greatest players against each other for large sums of money, and Johnny and Danny’s lives.

Keith is Teddy’s accountant whose committed a crime in his younger days but never served time since his best friend Randy took the blame and went to prison for him. Eleven years later, Randy is finally leaving prison, so Keith picks him up only to discover that during his time inside Randy has become a paradoxically different person. He has a giant swastika tattooed on his face, yet he acts and talks like a black rapper from Compton. The stories begin to come together when Crystal, who runs the motel where illegal immigrants hide only to be apprehended by corrupt ICE agents and delivered to Teddy for enslavement or execution, needs a kidney donor for her dying husband, Kaylee’s biological father. Teddy suggests that Kaylee might be willing to do it, but when Kaylee gets kidnapped, desperate Crystal, suspecting Teddy’s involvement, picks up a shotgun and goes to find her daughter with or without El Monstruo’s help.
