Subdivision is a comedy/drama which is based on the change a community goes through when hotshot upper class developers take over. The plot centers around Digger Kelly and his son Jack, both whom are carpenters that work and build homes in Hervey Bay. Their work is turned upside down when a city property developer led by hot young executive Tiffany moves into town.

At thirty-seven, Miri is a twice-widowed, El Al flight attendant. Her well-regulated existence is suddenly turned upside down by an abandoned Chinese boy whose migrant-worker mother has been summarily deported from Israel. The film is a touching comic-drama in which two human beings — as different from each other as Tel Aviv is from Beijing — accompany each other on a remarkable journey, one that takes them both back to a meaningful life.

In Brooklyn Bridge Park, eleven year old Zachary Cowan strikes his eleven year old classmate Ethan Longstreet across the face with a stick after an argument. Although the meeting starts off civilized enough, it quickly degenerates after an unfortunate incident by Nancy. The degeneration of their meeting not only has to do with their boys’ fight, but also the other couple’s fitness as parents, the state of their respective marriages and their place in a crazy world.
